Mind-Body Skills for Adults

Some of the subjects taught in this invaluable training in how to handle stress and create a more balanced life include:
- mindfulness meditation
- guided imagery
- relaxation techniques
- avenues to access inner wisdom
- journal writing
- the power of forgiveness
These techniques heighten self-awareness, self-care, and the ability to evoke what is known as the relaxation response. Learning to cultivate this state of mind has been proven highly effective in:
- improving capacity to respond effectively to stressful events
- decreasing anxiety and depression
- strengthening the ability to focus and concentrate
- heightening an overall sense of well-being
- alleviating physical tension and frustration
The group process itself has been proven to be highly therapeutic, providing an opportunity to listen mindfully to each other and to lend each other social support.

Fee: $80/class | Total: $560 due prior to first session*
* Upon request, a fee slip will be provided after each weekly session to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
